🌐 Virtual Lunch & Learn: Animating GIS Data for Flood Simulation

Speaker: Chase Collier was raised in the Florida Panhandle and pursued his academic journey at Florida State University, earning an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science and a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Sciences. Following graduation, he worked at Stearns Weaver Miller in Tallahassee, where he created GIS exhibits to support public hearing analysis and litigation. Chase is currently a member of the Kimley-Horn Surface Water team in Fort Myers, Florida, specializing in stormwater modeling, developing ArcGIS Pro plugins, and streamlining GIS workflows. In addition to his professional role, he actively contributes to the GIS community as a planning committee member for the Seven Hills Regional User Group for GIS (SHRUG), a position he has held for the past three years.
