Summary:
Glynn County has been working to convert older Flex applications to JavaScript as well as create new applications and Story Maps using the custom web application builder provided by ArcGIS Online for both internal and external use. We will discuss the process of leveraging map services on ArcGIS for Server as well as uploading and hosting data on ArcGIS Online. Next we will discuss and provide examples of how to embed these applications on websites. Finally, we will share what we have found as best practices and tips for configuring widgets in the applications.
There will be a web gallery setup by the CRC for attendees to share a few of their map applications and story maps for a round table discussion to share successes and pitfalls afterwards.
