Exploring UGA’s Aerial Photography Collection
Hosted by the Northeast Georgia Chapter & Georgia Geospatial Association (GGA)
Join us for an insightful session on the UGA Map and Government Library’s Aerial Photography Collection, part of the Digital Library of Georgia. Learn about the collection’s history, how to access it, current offerings, and upcoming additions.
This presentation will also be broadcast as part of GGA’s monthly June Lunch and Learn.

Featured Speakers
Nicole Lawrence serves as the Director for both the UGA Libraries Discovery and Digital Collections Department and Digital Library of Georgia (DLG). She works with the DLG team to facilitate digitization, access, and preservation of historical materials (including aerial photos) throughout the state. She also guides UGA and DLG technology development by working with librarians and developers to ensure access to digital resources.
Sarah Causey is the interim Head of the Map and Government Information Library, which houses the cartographic and government information collections of UGA Libraries. She also serves as the Federal Depository Regional Librarian for the state of Georgia and manages the repository program for Georgia state agency publications, which includes the web archiving of state agency websites.
