The Northeast Subchapter of GGA and SAM are sponsoring a two-day Migrating to ArcGIS Pro class. This class is both for those who are in the process of moving to ArcGIS Pro and those new to GIS that want to learn how to perform common tasks using ArcGIS Pro.

Topics covered in this class will include:

  • Understanding what ArcGIS Pro is and its requirements
  • Navigating the ribbon interface
  • Understanding and creating ArcGIS Pro projects
  • Creating 2D and 3D Maps
  • Adding and configuring new layers to a map
  • Creating map layouts
  • Editing spatial and attribute data

Instructor

Tripp Corbin, Vice President of GGA and GIS Business Development Manager for SAM, will be the instructor. With over 25 years of experience working in the geospatial industry, he is recognized as a GIS subject matter expert (SME) across the United States and Canada. Tripp has written four books on ArcGIS Pro and holds multiple GIS and IT certifications.

Additional Details

This training opportunity will be held at the Jackson County Fire Training Center on April 9th and 10th from 9am to 5pm each day. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided. Participants will need to bring their own laptop with a valid copy of ArcGIS Pro 3x loaded on their machine. The cost is $300 for the 2-day event. The class is limited to 30 people.
