Georgia Bikes improves bicycling and walking conditions and promotes bicycling and walking statewide. We interact with all levels of government, support local advocates, work toward common goals with partners, provide safety education, host an annual summit, act as a clearinghouse, and speak on behalf of safe, equitable, and accessible biking and walking.

This position is contract-funded through February 25, 2025 with a salary of $50,000-$65,000 (depending on qualifications) and a budgeted annual increase. Incentive-based pay supplements may be available to an exceptionally experienced candidate. We offer a SIMPLE IRA plan with contributions matched up to 3% of salary and a stipend to assist with health insurance costs; paid vacation (10 days/yr.), holidays (10 days/yr.), and sick leave; and a stipend for employees working exclusively from home. We financially support continuing education for staff, and travel costs are reimbursable with prior approval and per funding guidelines. Additionally, staff are eligible for substantial discounts and pro deals on bicycling and outdoors products. We are a team of passionate, friendly bike-walk advocates.

Flexible Work Environment
As a small nonprofit organization, Georgia Bikes is able to offer considerable flexibility (pending ED approval) in work location (including home office, co-working space, or modest allowance for office rental), schedule, use of holidays, and job duties/priorities. We also encourage our team members to spend work time partnering with and assisting local advocates in their communities.
