GIS Technician

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented GIS Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and play a critical role in supporting projects through data migration, mapping, and validation. This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and high-quality results.

Responsibilies:

– Utilize Telenium and CircuitVision software to create, edit, and maintain spatial data layers.
– Import, transform, and integrate geographic data from various sources to support project objectives.
– Ensure 100% accuracy in GIS deliverables and consistently meet weekly SLA requirements.
– Collaborate with the team lead to ensure GIS needs are addressed within established project timelines.
– Integrate data from relational databases, S3, files, and APIs into GIS applications.
– Assist in designing and implementing CAD drawings for GIS-related projects.
– Maintain comprehensive documentation of GIS processes, methodologies, and best practices using SharePoint.
– Provide technical support for GIS-related inquiries and troubleshooting.

Compensation:

$25/hr to $35/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
