Under the supervision of the Systems Administrator, the GIS Technician is responsible for the maintenance of GIS and related assets for T&D. The GIS Tech will assist with the enrichment of and appending to enterprise GIS datasets, in addition to supporting existing/developing new web GIS applications and performing field data collection duties. There are also some more traditional cartographic responsibilities associated with the position, such as maintaining the legacy Clayton County basemap and ad hoc emergency response maps (as redundancies to web GIS applications).
